“No point delaying, let me introduce you.
I am referred to as Arborer. I reside between worlds, collecting the shards of past events and chasing those of the near future. I speak no embellished tales of legend, merely the lesser known stories of individuals caught in the same web. Aren’t stories of the once common person often so much more interesting?
An example:
The broken wing and the blazing sun. The fang filed blunt. A hammer discarded, forgotten. An army wasted. Keys in the wrong locks and Shadows in starlight. A hollow shell in crumbling copper shackles. A flower tossed aside, taking new root. A mind, helplessly overrun. A demise in molten gold. A city fractured and built anew.
Cryptic phrases, I know. I offer insight, dear Visitor, but you cannot stay at the surface.
Threads in a web, links in a chain, nine of which I previously mentioned. However, nothing is linear. Threads become tangled, chains break. They can be rediscovered much like memories, they return fractured and out of order but may be reattached.
Nothing is linear. Until it is made so.
Find these threads, experiences these lives, hear these voices. Weave them back together if you wish, not every link provides you with detail needed to achieve understanding.
Order can be found, whether it should be is up to the individual. Decide carefully, dear Visitor.
All will come in time.”
